On Friday, May 16, former Porter Ridge High School standout Caleb Gant’s current collegiate team the Catawba Indians won 4-3 against the North Greenville Crusaders in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Newman Park at 7 p.m. and was the first matchup against the North Greenville Crusaders in the tournament.

The Catawba Indians’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 6:10 p.m. at Newman Park.
