Former Piedmont High School standout Jillian Thomas played on Friday, May 9 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Friday, May 9, former Piedmont High School standout Jillian Thomas’ current collegiate team the Wingate Bulldogs lost 0-4 against the Francis Marion Patriots in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Francis Marion Patriots in the tournament.

The Wingate Bulldogs’ next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at FMU Softball Stadium.
