On Wednesday, April 2, former Weddington High School standout Jadyn Howell’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Charlotte 49ers.
The game took place at Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the 49ers this season.
The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at Duke Softball Stadium against Duke Blue Devils.
