On Saturday, March 29, former Piedmont High School standout Jillian Thomas’ current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, lost 10-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.

The game took place at McCrorie Family Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bears this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 1 p.m. at Wingate Softball Complex against USC Aiken Pacers.
