On Friday, April 18, former Porter Ridge High School standouts Kayla Purdy and Madison Stamper’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Belmont Bruins.

The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their second matchup against the Bruins this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 12 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Belmont Bruins.
