On Saturday, April 5, former Porter Ridge High School standouts Kayla Purdy and Madison Stamper’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Bradley Braves.

The game took place at Petersen Hotels Field. This was their second matchup against the Braves this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 12 p.m. at Petersen Hotels Field against Bradley Braves.
