On Tuesday, April 1, former Porter Ridge High School standouts Kayla Purdy and Madison Stamper’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UIC Flames.

The game took place at Flames Field. This was their first matchup against the Flames this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 7 p.m. at Flames Field against UIC Flames.
