On Wednesday, March 26, former Porter Ridge High School standouts Kayla Purdy and Madison Stamper’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the DePaul Blue Demons.

The game took place at Cacciatore Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Blue Demons this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 1:05 p.m. at Valpo Softball Complex against Evansville Purple Aces.
