On Tuesday, March 25, former Sun Valley High School standout Matt Schepel’s current college team, the Mount Olive Trojans, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wingate Bulldogs.

The game took place at Scarborough Field. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Zell B. Miller Field against Young Harris Mountain Lions.
