On Saturday, April 19, former Weddington High School standout Madelyn Miller’s current college team, the Winthrop Eagles, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Radford Highlanders.

The game took place at Radford Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Highlanders this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 4 p.m. at Terry Field against Presbyterian Blue Hose.
