On Saturday, April 5, former Cuthbertson High School standout Sophia Lawson’s current college team, the Winthrop Eagles, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the USC Upstate Spartans.

The game took place at Cyrill Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Upstate Spartans this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 6 p.m. at Terry Field against Wofford Terriers.
