On Saturday, March 22, former Cuthbertson High School standout Sophia Lawson’s current college team, the Winthrop Eagles, lost 7-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.

The game took place at Brinkley Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Runnin’ Bulldogs this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 3 p.m. at Brinkley Softball Stadium against Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.
