On Wednesday, April 9, former Piedmont High School standout Jillian Thomas’ current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Newberry Wolves.

The game took place at Wingate Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Wolves this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Wingate Softball Complex against Mars Hill Lions.
