On Saturday, May 3, former Porter Ridge High School standouts Kayla Purdy and Madison Stamper’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Northern Iowa Panthers.

The game took place at UNI-Dome. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, May 4 at 12 p.m. at UNI-Dome against Northern Iowa Panthers.
