On Thursday, April 17, former Porter Ridge High School standouts Kayla Purdy and Madison Stamper’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Belmont Bruins.

The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their first matchup against the Bruins this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 3:30 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Belmont Bruins.
