Dan Bishop has been serving in Congress since 2019 after previously holding positions in both the North Carolina House of Representatives and Senate as well as on the Mecklenburg County Commission. Born in Charlotte in 1964, he continues to reside there and holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
