Rep. Mark Harris, a prominent political figure known for his active presence on social media, recently shared a series of tweets addressing various issues of concern to his constituents and broader audience.

On July 7, 2025, Rep. Harris urged his followers to join him and his wife in offering prayers for the residents of North Carolina who are facing severe flooding. He wrote, “Please join Beth and I in praying for the people of North Carolina as they endure another round of severe flooding.”

The following day, on July 8, 2025, Rep. Harris celebrated what he described as an “exciting victory for free speech,” emphasizing that the IRS should not interfere with First Amendment rights. He stated: “Exciting victory for free speech! The IRS must never infringe on the First Amendment rights of American pastors to speak freely.” Furthermore, he advocated for legislative action by Congress through his proposed Free Speech Fairness Act to make these protections permanent.

Later that same day, Rep. Harris commented critically on policies related to sanctuary states and gender spaces. He expressed disapproval by stating: “No surprise that the sanctuary state governor also wants women’s spaces to be a sanctuary for perverted men.”

Additional information notes that Rep. Mark Harris is a member of Congress representing North Carolina’s 9th District.
