City of Monroe recently issued the following announcement.

Census 2020: Why It Matters Lunch and Learn

Start Date/Time:Wednesday, February 19, 2020 11:00 AM

Category:EventsDescription:

Do you have a business in Monroe?  Do you provide direct services such as a beauty salon or a barber shop? Please join us as we explore the importance of the 2020 census and the impact it has on our future.

We’ll examine the origins of the census, the ways it affects our lives and communities, and how we can ensure a complete and accurate count. On February 19, at 11:00 a.m., we invite you to come to a lunch and learn to find out what actions you can take to ensure your customers are counted successfully beginning April 1.

Email your RSVP to tcampo@monroenc.org no later than February 8 or call Teresa Campo, Community Development Coordinator, at (704) 282-4526.  This event is limited to 25 registrants.
