State House Rep. Dean Arp (R-Union) updated his constituents about U.S. Rep. Dan Bishop's (R-N.C.) fight against absentee ballot fraud, the Republican lawmaker said in a Facebook post.
"So far, timely action by federal judges has prevented corrupt state officials and partisans from using a rogue state judge to throw open this election to widespread fraud," Bishop wrote, Arp shared in his Oct. 6 Facebook post. "May they stick to their guns."
There has been no proof of widespread voter fraud.
In the Facebook post, Arp said not to forget that this was the same group of political officials who attempted to stop the Voter ID Amendment.
"Don't forget this is the same Gov. [Roy] Cooper/Democratic leaders who sued to effectively stop the will of the people of N.C. and the N.C. Voter ID Constitutional Amendment passed by an overwhelming vote of the people," Arp wrote in the Facebook post. "The same Attorney General Josh Stein who won't defend the N.C. Voter ID Amendment and will of the people of N.C.!"
