August 2020: Monroe experienced a 5.8% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2020 in Monroe rose by $12,000 while total sales decreased by 71.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2020, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $220,500 - a 5.8% increase over the $208,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 66 homes sold in Monroe in August 2019.

The median sales tax in Monroe for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,109, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for August 2020.
