Home prices increased in Waxhaw during September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Waxhaw rose by $29,000 while total sales decreased by 20.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 54 homes sold, with a median sale price of $369,500 - a 8.5% increase over the $340,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 68 homes sold in Waxhaw in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Waxhaw for 2017 was $2,616. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,537. This marks an increase of 3.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.7%.
