Remembering Marty Watts | Union County Solid Waste Employee

Marty

Union County Government recently issued the following announcement.

Union County Government lost one of our own, Marty Watts, a Site Attendant with Solid Waste, on Tuesday, Sept. 21. Marty was 53 years old and had worked for Union County for almost a year. He worked at the Piedmont Residential Waste and Recycling Center.

Those who worked alongside him say he had a jovial personality and positive attitude. One called him a kind person with a big heart who "never said a bad word about anyone."

Watts lived in Indian Trail with his wife and two children and was a long-standing member and deacon in his church.

Please join Union County employees in keeping Marty Watts' family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
