Richmond County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
United Way of Richmond County is asking you to consider a gift as part of the final 2022 campaign push. The non-profit agency is currently short of its campaign goal of $250,000, the amount it says is needed to maintain current programming and allocations to 13 partner agencies and 13 programs that support Richmond County residents. United Way agencies are seeing an increase in need because of COVID-19. During the pandemic, partner agencies have assisted the less fortunate with basic needs such as food, shelter, utilities, and rent/mortgage. Helping the United Way of Richmond County makes a difference in our friends, neighbors and families. You may never know who's life you have touched by donating to our community campaign.
