The 9th Annual Union County Heritage Festival is hosted by the Union County Extension Master Gardeners and will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Union County Agricultural and Events Center in Monroe. As usual the Heritage Festival will feature live music, food trucks, a vendor fair, arts and crafts, cooking demonstrations, educational and creative activities for children, garden talks, and much more. The 4-H Expo will be going on simultaneously with club displays, horse and livestock shows, and safety demonstrations. Wild Turkey 5K participants have the choice of the On-Site 5K or Run Anywhere 5K. The 5K supports the Carolina Waterfowl Rescue.
There are opportunities to exhibit, volunteer, sponsor, donate to the raffle, participate in the Wild Turkey 5K Trail Run and Walk, and of course, to attend and enjoy the day celebrating our Union County Heritage and community
