Hamlet, N.C. – October 18, 2022. American Woodmark Corporation (NASDAQ: AMWD), one of the nations largest manufacturers of cabinets will expand their Hamlet footprint, nearly doubling the size of their existing facility.  The Virginia-based maker of cabinetry for home builders, independent dealers, and distributors, will expand their manufacturing site in Hamlet which will serve its growing East Coast market. The company plans to invest over $40 million in the facility, which will add an additional 131 jobs and will grow their total headcount to exceed 370 team members.
