North Carolina midterms sees McInnis for State Senate in cities associated with Richmond County spend the most during Q4 2022

McInnis for State Senate spent the most out of political committees within cities associated with Richmond County during the fourth quarter of 2022.

It spent $828,066 on 33 vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was for Contribution to NC Senate Majority Fund, which is based in the Raleigh area.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in a city within Richmond County during the fourth quarter of 2022 came from Ben Moss North Carolina House. It spent $29,451 during the time period on 26 different vendors.

What’s known as “dark money”, which comes from political non-profits and shell corporations, has greatly increased expenditures and donations in recent elections to record-breaking highs.

Political campaign financial data is often updated, leading to a sometimes incomplete picture of a committee or candidate's finances.
