WASHINGTON - Congressman Dan Bishop (NC-08) voted to pass the Limit, Save, Grow Act on the House floor. 

"We need to shrink Washington to grow America, and the Limit, Save, Grow Act does just that. American families are tired of the Washington Swamp status quo, and this bill is an essential first step towards restoring fiscal sanity and constitutional governance to D.C.," said Rep. Bishop. 

Republicans have come together to craft a robust package that, among many other victories:

• Delivers historic budget cuts with over $4.8 trillion in savings for taxpayers
• Reclaims unused COVID funds
• Caps overall federal spending
• Repeals the Biden student loan bailout
• Reverses wasteful ‘Green New Deal’ spending
• Defunds Biden’s IRS Army
• Protects retirement benefits
• Cuts red tape and burdensome regulations to unleash the economy

"President Biden and Leader Schumer must come to the table and negotiate with Republicans to rein in out-of-control spending and responsibly address the debt ceiling. Ignoring the debt crisis is not an option."
