How many people were old enough to vote in Union County during 2021?

Of the 235,699 citizens living in Union County in 2021, 73.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 172,748 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 84,632 were male, constituting 49%, and 88,116 were female, making up 51%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Union County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.8%.
