Congressman Bishop announced his opposition to the latest Continuing Resolution (CR) in a statement released on September 25, 2024. The vote took place in Washington.

"I voted NO on the CR. It’s simple - our nation is in crisis, and I won’t vote to spend billions we don’t have on things we don’t need when our elections aren’t secure and our debt is skyrocketing. Today’s vote sets up another monstrous December omnibus and worsens the swamp spending addiction," stated Congressman Bishop.
