As part of our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Union News have formally requested information under the North Carolina Public Records Law, G.S. §132-1 from the Richmond County Election Department.

Our request includes a detailed list of all candidates running in the upcoming election. We have asked for each candidate's first, middle, and last name, as well as the office they are running for and its jurisdiction. Additionally, we have requested information about each candidate's party affiliation.

Furthermore, we have sought all available contact information for each candidate. This includes their address, phone number, and email address.
