On Tuesday, April 1, former Cuthbertson High School standout Sophia Lawson’s current college team, the Winthrop Eagles, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Wofford Terriers.
The game took place at Hope Field. This was their first matchup against the Terriers this season.
The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Cyrill Stadium against USC Upstate Spartans.
