On Tuesday, March 25, former Weddington High School standout Madelyn Miller’s current college team, the Winthrop Eagles, lost 13-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.

The game took place at Betty Basler Field. This was their first matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at Terry Field against Charleston Southern Buccaneers.
