Census Bureau: 73.1 percent of people in Union County were old enough to vote in 2020

Of the 235,767 citizens living in Union County in 2020, 172,449 were old enough to vote as of March 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 88,637 of those people were female and 83,812 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
