Town of Indian Trail joined the Union West Rotary to deliver supplies to the Council on Aging in Union County

Today, the Town of Indian Trail joined the Union West Rotary to deliver supplies to the Council on Aging in Union County, including wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and shower seats. According to its website, the Council on Aging “strives to promote quality of life and supportive services for adults 60 years of age and older living in Union County.” For more information about their mission, visit https://coaunion.org/.

Thanks to dollars received through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the Town was able to create surplus general funds to be used for projects to support the community. The Union West Rotary requested and received $150,000 of these surplus funds to help organizations like the Council on Aging.

ARPA is allowing the Town of Indian Trail to help those who help our community.”
