Union County seeks community input on its newly launched branding initiative to showcase what makes the area unique.

“We know Union County is special, and refreshed branding will help us present that to everyone else,” County Manager Mark Watson said in an Aug. 24 release from Union County. “My hope is this initiative will attract jobs and investment, drive more resident engagement, and display our Union County pride; Branding can help us define a distinct sense of place for those who live, visit, and do business here.”

Community members can take an online survey at Union County’s Branding website that asks a variety of questions including how likely they are to recommend the county, how they would describe the area, how they would rate certain attributes and characteristics of the county and what distinguishes the county from other communities. The survey will be available through Sept. 9.

Residents are also encouraged to post stories and pictures related to their experiences in Union County.
